My name is Johnathon. Striking the balance between simplicity and functionality is a principle I carry into my work. I love puzzles and challenges, especially when design can help solve it.

I gain inspiration for my work all around me, every app I use, place I travel and game played can lead to new design insights. I excel working in cross functional teams where designs can be expanded on and tested by different stakeholders in the team, PMs, devs, fellow designers.

I can understand, relate, empathize and work creatively with developers.

My wife’s name is Alexandra we have two sons Jack and Luke, and a cat named Luna. In my personal spare time I enjoy playing video games (recently Valheim), motorcycling, staying active by working out, rollerblading, playing tennis and hockey.
